How to Install a Saddle Mount

1. Identify your saddle’s bolt spacing and check that your Framesandgear model matches those measurements.
   
2. Prepare the underside of the saddle by cleaning off any dust, grease, or debris for secure seating.
   
3. Align the bolt holes with the saddle’s threaded inserts (e.g., 46 mm centre-to-centre) and place the bracket flush under the saddle.
   
4. Fit the mounting bolts included with the kit and tighten gradually, alternating between bolts. Use a torque spec if provided (or tighten firmly but do not overtighten).
   
5. Attach your device (radar, light, camera, or GoPro). Ensure it clicks or locks in place.
   
6. Final check: the bracket stays stable when you ride, and no movement occurs.
   

B. Installation for Universal Saddle-Rail Mounts

For standard saddles with rails and rail-based Framesandgear hardware, use this method:

1. Confirm the saddle has rails (round or oval) that run parallel to the bike frame.
   
2. Wipe down the rail surfaces to remove dirt or residue so the clamp sits securely.
   
3. Open the rail clamp and position it around the saddle rails at the preferred rear location.
