  1. Generally, the Framesandgear Tether will loop through the slot on the Garmin Edge.
     
     
  2. Most Edge models: open the weather cap to reveal the USB port. Edge 130/130 Plus, observe the 2 small holes in the casing.
     
     
  3. Thread the small loop of the tether through the openings in the casing.
     
     
  4. Insert the larger loop at the opposite end of the tether through the loop at the small end and tighten the small loop onto the casing.
     
     
  5. When mounting the Edge to the bike, you can loop the tether around your handlebars to secure it to your bike in case it becomes dislodged from the mount.
